Overview

Note: Some things on this page may seem irrelevant but I am trying to be as transparent as I can about my policies and practices so you can make informed decisions about the products you purchase from my site. So please bear with me.

Most items I sell on my site are hand-made by me. Items for sale which are not hand-made by me will state that clearly in their description. The items I make will usually be made out of high quality, natural fibers because in my experience, natural fibers make longer-lasting, superior-quality products which are better for the planet (and the people using the items) in the long run. All products I sell have been crafted and/or stored in a smoke free, pet free environment. (Sometimes, when I’m at my mom’s, her cat Bubba sleeps on my head (see proof below, lol) but he has no access to my materials and/or knitting ). 

Hand knitting (and other crafting) is expensive and laborious but I work hard to keep my costs low, so I can pass those savings on to you. I try to list all fiber content and care instructions in my product descriptions but there are some exceptions. Used items or items I knit a long time ago may not have this info available but these items will have discount pricing and will still be described to the best of my knowledge. Some items are one-of-kind and cannot be replicated. All sizes will be listed in the description – if you don’t see a size listed, that size is NOT available, unless otherwise stated.
I use Craft Yarn Council industry standards for sizing but may also include actual measurements for your information. I also work hard to accurately photograph all products but please remember your screen may display colors differently.

Payments and Shipping 

All prices are in Canadian Dollars. I use PayPal to receive payments from you and as such I have agreed to abide by their terms and conditions. If you would like to see those terms and conditions please go to:   https://www.paypal.com/al/webapps/mpp/ua/useragreement-full?locale.x=en_AL 

I ship my items using Canada Post. Items will be shipped in the best packaging available to me. This means that although I care about the environment, I also care that the items you purchase get to you in their original quality condition. Therefore, items will likely be shipped in plastic packaging of some kind. I will do my best to use the smallest amount of plastic possible and may use: pre-purchased plastic shipping envelopes, reusable/resealable plastic bags, recycled shipping packaging (ie. Amazon), or any other packaging I deem suitable to ship you product. Some products may be shipped vacuum-sealed.

It is my intention to ship your items as soon as your payment is complete but please be aware: I live and work in areas where Canada Post locations require a little extra effort for me to get to (ie. not walking distance) and therefore I am at the mercy of things like weather and Canada Post’s operating hours. I am a one-person operation so please be patient and know that I am doing my very best to get your items to you as quickly as possible.
The good news is: I am currently offering free shipping in Canada (for a limited time).

Just a note: You may get several emails updating you about payments, orders and shipping information. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause – please know I am working to streamline this issue.

Commissioned Work

All commissions will be estimated according to the prices of materials (and the time required to knit the item) at the time of the estimate. Most items in my shop are knit with materials that I purchase at discount prices and I pass those discounts on to you, the customer. I point this out to make it clear that prices for commissioned work may not be comparable to the prices of similar items for sale in my shop. Please be aware of this when inquiring about commissions.

I am currently NOT offering commissioned work as my schedule is full. This page will be updated when that changes. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Refunds, Exchanges and Returns

Before returning any item, please contact me through the contact page.

My refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, I can’t offer you a refund or an exchange.
To be eligible for a refund or exchange, items must be returned (within 30 days) unused and in their original condition.
Items must include all pieces that came with the original product as well as the original receipt.
All commissioned items, downloadable products, used/vintage items and sale-price/clearance items are non-refundable.

-Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item. I will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, I will give you further instructions on receiving your refund.

-Exchanges

Please contact me for the possibility of exchanging items. The same policy will be enforced for exchanges as for returns.

-Shipping returns

You will be responsible for any shipping costs associated with returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you are receiving an exchange, you may be responsible for the cost of having the exchanged item shipped to you.

If you are returning expensive items, you may wish to use a trackable shipping service or you may consider purchasing shipping insurance. All costs associated with this will be your responsibility. I will not be responsible for any errors caused by your shipping method or carrier.

Other stuff

I ask that all comments, reviews and/or emails, written by customers and/or guests, be done in good faith (for example: no insulting or harassing language).
If you have criticism feel free to honestly share it but I hope it can be done in a spirit of sincerity and not malice. I reserve the right to refuse products and/or services to anyone at any time for any reason (but hopefully it never comes to that). I also reserve the right to remove any comments at my discretion.

No part of this website may be reproduced or used in any manner (in part or in whole) without my prior written consent. This includes (but is not limited to) photographs, documentation or writings by the website authors or guests visiting the site. Exceptions will of course be made if you are sharing info from the site with family and friends to make them aware of products they may be interested in and with the intent of directing them to the Site.

All of my patterns are only available in PDF form and no physical copies will be mailed to you. It is your responsibility to print them out if you desire. They are also copyrighted and any duplication (other than for your personal use) is therefore prohibited. 

I reserve the right to make changes to any or all of this information at any time without prior notice.
